Our Wedding

In March 2022, we met for our very first date over Chinese hotpot in Melbourne CBD. What started as a simple dinner quickly turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the feeling that we'd found someone who just got us.As our relationship grew, we discovered how much we had in common. We're both proudly a little nerdy—we love spending time watching anime, playing Minecraft, and embracing our geeky side together. While many people enjoy big parties and nightlife, we're happiest staying home, relaxing, and enjoying the simple things in life. To us, an ordinary day spent together has always been the best kind of day.Life became even more meaningful when we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Arabella Shoppee. Becoming parents has been the greatest adventure we've shared, and watching our little family grow has made our bond stronger than we ever imagined.On Valentine's Day, 14 February 2026, Angus asked Panchita to marry him, and of course, she said yes! It was the perfect beginning to the next chapter of our story.Now, we're so excited to celebrate our wedding surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Panchita's cousin and one of her most trusted people, Au has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Over the years, they've been everything from her personal chef, masseur, handyman, rider, advisor, and even landlord—always ready to help with whatever she needs. Her love, support, and endless generosity mean the world to Panchita, and she is so grateful to have Au by her side on such a special day.

Blake is Angus's brother and one of the most important people in his life. They've shared a lifetime of memories, inside jokes, and brotherly support, and Blake has been there through every stage of Angus's journey. He is loyal, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand or a laugh when it's needed most. Having Blake stand beside Angus on our wedding day means so much, and we are thrilled to celebrate this moment with him.

Our beautiful daughter, Arabella, is the brightest light in our little family. She has brought so much love, laughter, and joy into our lives, and every day with her is a reminder of how lucky we are. Arabella is curious, sweet, and full of personality, and we are so excited to have her be part of our special day. She means the world to us, and we can't wait to watch her grow up surrounded by love.

When should I RSVP by?Please RSVP by September 1st 2026 so we can finalise our guest numbers with the restaurant. What time should I arrive?Please arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony so everyone is seated before we begin. Where is the ceremony?Our ceremony will take place at Margaret Craig Room, Old Treasury Building, 20 Spring St, East Melbourne VIC 3002. Where is the reception?After the ceremony, we'll head to Bali Hai Thai Fusion, 2/32 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000, for a celebratory lunch. The restaurant is approximately 6 minutes walk from the ceremony venue. Is there parking available?Yes! There are public parking options nearby. We'll include parking details closer to the wedding. What is the dress code?Cocktail AttireWe'd love for everyone to dress up a little and celebrate with us, but most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable in. Can I bring a plus one?Due to our limited venue capacity, invitations are reserved for the guests named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding. Can I bring my children?Only children specifically named on the invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate. Will there be food and drinks?Absolutely! We'll be enjoying a restaurant lunch together. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP. Can I take photos?Yes! We'd love for you to capture special moments throughout the day. During the ceremony, however, we kindly ask everyone to remain present and allow our photographer to capture the important moments.
